## Sportradar Earns IBIA Data Collection Accreditation

Sportradar has been granted the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) data standard accreditation, a mark of industry recognition for the quality of sports wagering data collection.

The firm achieved this distinction after successfully undergoing an assessment by eCOGRA, an organization specializing in evaluating, inspecting, and certifying online gambling software and systems.

The IBIA’s new guidelines aim to guarantee high precision and transparency, encompassing three key aspects: personnel review and instruction, data organization procedures, and data integrity and reporting.

According to these guidelines, all data collection must be conducted by individuals at least 18 years of age, with verified identities, who have passed additional background checks and received on-site instruction, including identifying and reporting integrity concerns.

Moreover, data providers must clearly outline the origin, accuracy, and dependability of their data by specifying their collection methods, such as whether they are gathered on-site or through television broadcasts.

Sportradar, led by Chief Regulatory and Compliance Officer Anya Martin, is dedicated to delivering the most dependable and high-quality data products to its customers and partners.

Sportradar invests heavily in quality control systems and procedures, implementing the industry’s most rigorous security measures to ensure the trustworthiness of products delivered to downstream markets. Achieving the IBIA’s Data Standards Certification further showcases Sportradar’s unwavering commitment to data quality, integrity, and transparency.

Stats Perform, another data provider, recently became the first company to adhere to the agency’s new data collection standards.

IBIA CEO Khalid Ali stated, “We are pleased to acknowledge Sportradar as our latest Data Standards Certification recipient. IBIA has established standards and certification to guarantee the highest levels of transparency and accuracy in the collection and supply chain of sports data. Companies like Sportradar, having passed the audit, have demonstrated robust internal procedures in collecting sports data for betting. Accurate data collation provides both sports fans and bettors with confidence that the games they watch are fair, honest, and played at the highest level of competition.”

In addition to expanding its data partnership with the International Tennis Federation, Sportradar also signed a data and streaming agreement with the International Cricket Council earlier this month.
