Suncity Group to Preview its Vietnam Resort
Suncity Group will be the initial company to display its new all-inclusive resort in Vietnam – iGB
Macau gambling operator Suncity Group has declared that it will be giving a sneak peek of its 34%-owned Hoiana integrated resort in Vietnam this weekend, before its official grand opening next year.
The resort, which started construction in 2016, has now finished several operational structures and those attending the June 28 preview event will be able to experience some of the on-site conveniences.
Facilities that will be accessible include the Hoiana Suncity Entertainment and Gaming location, as well as the Hoiana Beach Golf Club and Hoiana Hotel and Suites, the first of four luxury hotels that will be constructed at the resort.
“I am thrilled to witness our project continuously developing in its transformation; Suncity’s change never ceases,” said Suncity Chairman Alvin Chau.
The preview event comes after Suncity earlier this month announced a 23.5% drop in income for 2019 to RMB61.18 billion (GBP69.5 million/EUR77.1 million/USD86.4 million), while losses grew to RMB1.5 billion due to continued rising financial expenditures.
This enterprise focuses on high-end travel and lodging. They generated 572.3 million yuan from customer agreements, representing a 23.5% decline.
