AstroPay Embraces Pix to Revolutionize Online Payments in Brazil

AstroPay is simplifying online payments for Brazilian consumers. They’ve adopted Pix, the incredibly popular payment platform widely used throughout Brazil. Since its 2020 launch by the Central Bank of Brazil, Pix has become the preferred payment choice, exceeding even credit and debit card usage!

AstroPay now provides two Pix payment methods:

* **Directly on a vendor’s site:** The familiar Pix QR code will be visible – eliminating the need to switch to a different app or website. This benefits both parties, as it streamlines payments for shoppers and has the potential to increase sales for companies.
* **Via AstroPay’s infrastructure (for enterprises):** Businesses already utilizing AstroPay can easily integrate Pix as a payment alternative.

Mikael Lijtenstein, AstroPay’s CEO, is enthusiastic about this development. He understands that offering more payment options leads to increased purchases. He views this as a way to enhance convenience for all and maintain AstroPay’s position at the forefront of Brazil’s digital payment transformation.

AstroPay, a financial technology company specializing in payments, has declared major goals to substantially increase its footprint in Brazil. Their objective is to broaden their network, encompassing more than 200 retailers and connecting with 150,000 consumers nationwide.

Following their Brazilian debut in December 2021, AstroPay amplified their operations throughout Latin America the preceding month. This initiative introduced their novel payment methods to small and mid-sized enterprises in Peru, Chile, Mexico, and Colombia.
