No Second Casino For Forest City: Success Group And Genting Malaysia Deny Involvement In Johor Casino Discussions

Both Success Group and Genting Malaysia, as reported by Malaysia’s The Star, have formally refuted any participation in talks regarding a prospective second casino in Johor’s Forest City.

This follows Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s refutation of the speculation as “falsehoods” last week, asserting that there were no deliberations about an additional casino in Forest City.

Genting Malaysia issued a declaration stating that “neither Genting Malaysia nor Lim Kok Thay participated in any such dialogues or gatherings,” labeling the claims “unfounded.”

Success Group has lodged a police complaint and disseminated a press statement through The Star to counter what they deem “inaccurate assertions” and underscore that they have not engaged in any discussions with the entities cited in the original account.
