ACR Celebrates International Women’s Day with Charity Poker Tournament

ACR is sponsoring a unique card game competition to commemorate Women’s History Month and generate funds for the UBCF.

The competition commences on Wednesday, the eighth of March, at 4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. For a $55 entry fee, competitors are assured a share of the $10,000 winnings, with all proceeds benefiting the organization. In appreciation, all entrants will also obtain a $55 competition voucher for a future game. ACR will also be equaling the total winnings sum in their contribution to the UBCF.

The institution delivers vital aid to those affected by breast cancer, encompassing financial backing, supporting children of impacted households, and advocating for early identification through examinations.

During the event, ACR Team Professionals Katie Lindsay and Ebony Kenney will be accompanied by Nicky Lomo and Caitlin Comeskey, broadcasting live on the card room’s Twitch stream. They will be disseminating details on the significance of breast self-assessments and instructing viewers on how to conduct them at home.

This marks the second consecutive year that ACR has organized this philanthropic competition, succeeding a prosperous event the previous year that garnered over $15,000!

ACR professional poker player, Ebony Kenney, expressed enthusiasm for the return of the International Women’s Day event. She remarked on the fantastic opportunity ACR is providing by hosting the event again this year. Kenney emphasized the enjoyment of competing with peers while advocating for an important initiative, stating her firm commitment to the cause.
